Refund Policy

1. Introduction

At Slice of NY, we take pride in delivering high-quality food and exceptional service. We understand that sometimes, situations may arise where a refund is necessary. This refund policy outlines the conditions under which refunds are granted and the procedures customers should follow to request a refund.

2. Eligibility for Refunds

Customers may request a refund under the following circumstances:

Incorrect Order: If you receive the wrong items in your order, please contact us within 30 minutes of receiving your order to report the issue.

Poor Quality or Unsatisfactory Food: If you believe the food quality does not meet our standards, you must report the issue within 30 minutes of delivery or pickup.

Late Delivery: If your order arrives significantly later than the estimated time and is no longer fresh or warm, you may request a refund.

Failed Delivery: If our driver is unable to deliver due to incorrect address details provided by the customer or lack of availability at the delivery location, a refund may not be granted.

Payment Errors: If you were charged incorrectly or made duplicate payments, we will issue a refund after verification.

3. Non-Refundable Situations

We do not offer refunds in the following situations:

Change of Mind: If you placed an order and then decide you no longer want the food after preparation has started.

Partially Consumed Orders: If a significant portion of the food has been eaten, we cannot provide a refund.

Third-Party Delivery Issues: If your order was placed through a third-party service (Uber Eats, DoorDash, etc.), refund requests must be handled by them.

Allergic Reactions: We provide allergen information upon request, but customers are responsible for reviewing ingredients before placing an order.

4. Refund Process

To request a refund, follow these steps:

Contact Us Promptly: Call or email us within 30 minutes of receiving your order.

Provide Order Details: Include your name, order number, time of purchase, and specific issue.

Submit Evidence: If applicable, provide clear photos of incorrect, damaged, or unsatisfactory food.

Management Review: Our team will review your request and determine the appropriate resolution.

Refund Approval: If approved, refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days via the original payment method.

5. Partial Refunds

In some cases, a partial refund may be issued instead of a full refund. This applies when:

Only part of the order was incorrect or unsatisfactory.

The customer consumed part of the meal before reporting the issue.

There was a minor delay but the order was still delivered.

6. Store Credit Option

Instead of a monetary refund, customers may choose to receive store credit for future purchases. Store credit can be applied to any item on our menu and does not expire.

7. Special Considerations

Refund requests must be made within the same day of the order to be considered.

If you paid in cash, refunds will be issued as store credit or in cash upon manager approval.

Slice of NY reserves the right to refuse a refund request if we suspect fraudulent activity.
